Everest Sambhar Masala

Everest Sambhar Masala is a blend for the dal and vegetable sambar served with rice, idli or vada, across different regional preparations.

Everest’s recipe combines cooked tuvar dal with vegetables such as drumstick, brinjal and pumpkin. Add the masala and tamarind during cooking, then simmer the mixture together. The sourness comes from the separately added tamarind, so the finished balance depends on that ingredient as well as the spice blend.
